Semi Permanent Make Up (SPMU) at Beauty Case London, Fleet and Farnborough

Semi Permanent Make Up (SPMU)

What is Semi Permanent Make Up (SPMU)?

Semi Permanent Make Up (often referred to as permanent make up or micro pigmentation) is rapidly becoming a fore runner in beauty aesthetics. It involves the introduction of minute amounts of dye into the dermal layer of the skin resulting the perfect look without the need to spend hours in front of the mirror every morning. The treatment is carried out using a special machine or micro-needles. The areas most commonly enhanced are the eyebrows, lips and eyeliner.

What should I expect from treatment?

Following a thorough consultation, Nadia will guide you through the treatment options and answer any questions you may have. Like all our procedures, the colour and shape is pencilled in first before the treatment is initiated so that YOU are in complete control of the style and shape of your chosen enhancement. The treatment is very comfortable and a topical anaesthetic is generally used to help manage client comfort.

Are there any side effects?

You may experience slight swelling and redness, but with the correct aftercare this should settle after 24 hours. Recovery time is not required and you may resume to normal activity after receiving SPMU treatments. You will be provided with appropriate aftercare to undertake at home, to ensure the very best result. As with any skin treatment, a patch test will be carried out before hand to ensure you are not allergic to the tint. You can be rest assured that Nadia uses the finest, medical grade mineral pigments which are hypoallergenic.

Who will carry out the treatment?

Your treatment will be carried out by Nadia who has been in the industry for over 22 years or another experienced aesthetician personally trained by Nadia.

How many treatments will I need?

Generally the treatment plan consists of two treatments 4-8 weeks apart.

How soon after the treatment will I see the results?

You can expect to see results immediately and they can last anywhere 6 to 18 months before any further maintenance work is required.

Please note: As with any treatmant, results can vary from individual to individual.

How often should I touch up my SPMU?

Regular maintenance for all semi permanent makeup procedures is recommended to keep your makeup looking it’s very best and we suggest that this may be done between 6-18 months.
